Enrollment process for ACTS and non ACTS candidates:
Set up an interview appointment at the ACTS Health Services by calling Denise Longbine at
(215) 371-3783 x 86715. The school is located on 812 Bethlehem Pike in Ambler. Please allow about 30 minutes for the enrollment process.

Bring your SS card, license or photo id and $50.00 money order (if applicable).

PA State Examination:
The program prepares the students to be competent to secure employment as a nursing assistant and to sit for the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation.

The enrollment process takes a minimum of 3-4 weeks. The Department of Education has stringent regulations for the enrollment process.

We will meet with you for a short interview during which the following information will be reviewed and/or verified:

Completion of a reading comprehension test
Completion of all necessary class registration paperwork
Proof that you have had a physical within one year of the NA Class
Proof that you have had a two step PPD (or chest x-ray within 60 days) within 30 days of the start of the class (ACTS Health Services Institute will provide the appropriate form to be completed by a physician)
A Criminal Background Check is completed on all candidates.
